I like my bacon both ways, crispy so it doesn't pull out of my BLT and not so well done at the breakfast table. You have to admit, it's alot tougher to make bacon bits for a salad with limp bacon.:D

There's a couple of decent places here I don't remember the names to.

There is a "Japanese" restaurant downtown which does (or did at one time) all you can eat "Sushi" for 500 pesos. I used to head down there after too many beers and Saturday poker and pig out. Of course, it's Sushi by name only, but the food was pretty good and a good selection of all you can eat for pretty cheap.

There is also a place which is sort of like a cafe and a sort of art gallery downtown. It's really small and the owner usually takes my order. She is a lady around 50 with an accent which makes you think there is no way she was born and raised here. Each wall has a painting or two with a small description and I believe most are for sale. The place has pretty good BLT's. I wish I could remember the name. I haven't been there for a long time, I will have to hunt it down one of these days.

Please do try to check that place out again and let us ( ok- me) know. I'd love a good old BLT.

This may be the Cafe Antonio in the Old Spanish Building.

Yup, that's the place. Looks like they made a lot of changes since the last time I was there. It looks big in the pictures. I remember that place being tiny.
