    Dear members

Can somone give me some information about this resort in Mulay (Zamboanguita) Talatta beach resort.
I am working on my scedual for my holiday in oct/nov and I found this resort on the internet.
It looks very nice and I like the place where it is situated.

Thalatta is nice but a bit pricy and far away from Dumaguete. We also had a look at it but decided not to go there

Jan, I'm glad you want to stay at least some hundreds of meters away from our place (it's Maluay  ) :D
Thalatta resort has an own website. Look at another topic on this forum or google.
See you then again in Oct/Nov !
But 2600 pesos/day (2 people) is for others quite pricy.
Even our place is much cheaper as you know, but indeed we can't offer a restaurant and swimming pool yet.

    Thank you Rhoody and Jellyfish.

My problem is that I have 6 weeks vaction, stay 2 weeks in Sabang, then I like to go to Sipalay and after that to Dumaguete and maby after that to moal boal for one week.
I like a resort where I can drop in anytime and not make a reservation yet, so I llike an open scedual cos I dont know where I am at what time.
It is also possible that I sleep at the kareoke rhoody.:D or the option of Jellyfish

No Rhoody, I know his secret but can't tell that here on the forum.
Btw....some of those karaoke girls can be more stingy than a jellyfish
With me (a jellyfish :D ) the next day(s) you only have an itchy skin, but with them ??????
JDiver. the option is still possible when you make a RESERVATION now
I can't believe you will find many resorts where you can drop in for several nights without a reservation.
Good luck to you with your problem of 6 weeks vacation in the Philippines !

I am not a diver but I have had friends as well as family staying at Thalatta on several occasions - Thalatta Beach Resort. They all liked the place and wanted to go back there. They accepted last minute change to reservations without surcharge. It is small, clean and intimate, the food is good (European cook), the staff is friendly, the pool is great. They arrange transport to Apo Island if you want, and other places too. You seem to know the area so you know that the Malatapay market is next door, where Ceres drops you off or picks you up every 15 minutes or so (if you dare). With Ceres you can even get onwards to Sipalay if you like. I have been there and I liked my stay at Takatuka Beach & Dive Resort (also European cook) - Negros, Philippines - dive at Takatuka Lodge, Sipalay.

The Greek name 'Thalatta' made me curious , so i checked Thalatta resort last March and thought it was very nice. The rooms looked really great the setting is lovely! Finally we stayed at Antulang for more isolation and bigger pool-the sea was very choppy to swim.
I couldn't resist to get a picture of the place even though i didn't stay..
