What do you do with empty wine bottles?
Before we always seperated them and put them outside at basura day and some collectors bring all the glass. Not anymore.

So does anybody knows, what to do with them to get rid of... Not to use them our self in any other way.

i've resorted to box wines but the selection isn't too good. i found some sweetish red at Sophia's and heard that Robs and Lee plaza/Hypermart sometimes stock box wines but i must go to Duma on the wrong days.

can anyone suggest other sources? how about the Valencia area?

    ------------------------------
    some clips from the 'net:
Savvy wine enthusiasts know that there's a time and place for boxed wine, and it's not just because of the seemingly limitless pours. They're also extremely eco-friendly, and will last at least three weeks in the fridge, where a standard bottle lasts only four to five days. But about that volume... most boxed wines contain three-liter bags, which is the equivalent of four bottles, making it perfect for those barbecues, house-parties, or family reunions.
    ------------------------------
Many believe boxes to be the most sustainable.
When considering sustainable wine options, many think of boxed wine — it comes in bulk, and it's comprised of predominantly cardboard. As long as the bag inside the box, which contains the wine, is BPA free (such as the one used by Bota Box) wouldn't the cardboard box automatically be the most sustainable option of them all?
Some condemn the use of plastic in boxed wine, such as the bag and the spigot, which generally isn't disposed of properly. However, analyses from a life cycle analyst suggest that even with the environmental impact of the non-recyclable packaging components, boxed wines were more sustainable than glass bottles.

We used to have win boxes before, exactly from lee mostly. But have seen them in robinsons also, haven't been there in years.

My wife dont like the wine anymore, gets her stomach upset so we stay with bottles now. And we only drink a few glasses a week but the bottles are piling up.

No solution but keep piling i guess. Will clear a corner in the garden then.
