I bought a big cooler and now looking for reusable freezer ice packs for cold storage after shopping. Has anyone seen one here?
I haven't seen the freezer packs you seek, but you could take some plastic water bottles and freeze them. If you add a bunch of salt to the water you can have something similar to the ice packs.
hi pat... as show pony suggested, i use small frozen drink bottles of water (aprox 500ml for my cooler. the bottles live in a basket in my freezer which can easily be transferred to the cooler. the cooler has a couple of horizontal dividers for making cooling zones and you also need to keep things like leafy green veggies away from the ice of they will burn. the cooler dividers are made from the rolled white foil faced building insulation and i have some extra pieces i can pass on to you. the ice bottles also help to maintain freezer temps during brown-outs.
I ordered the two-package from Lazada, will get two more from Uymatiao for my large cooler. As usual, good input from Forum members. Thanks.
Robinson Thanks, I bought a few at Robinson’s as well. Coleman brand, two models, 200p and 220p. They appear to be 6” in length while my on-order Lazada Igloo brand are 8”, two for 800p+. They will be used for the box on back of the motorbike for fish and the cooler in the car for refrigerated or frozen items.
