    I just got back from a dive and one of my divers took a shot where photo-pros dreaming of.... official thanks to him that I am allowed to post it. hehe earl it's not a tank-pic its real life... :p :wink: She's carrying quite some eggs. Let's hope we find some more of this beauties soon

    Thank yguys, that guy really did some awsome shots here. I will post some more when the internet is working propperly. One of his secrets, he is taking TIME. 15 to 20 shots per dive, sometimes less. But good bouyancy and creating the picture first before pressing the button...

    Leafy Ghost Pipefish ???

    Rhoody , Cool stuff . Did your friend take that on a night dive or use photoshop . I ask because it is so black behind and around the creature . It makes it POP .Just wondering cause it look so good . Really looking forward to many u/w photos . Be happy , go make some bubbles ... OK . Regards Kevin

    HI Kev,
    the pic is an female ornate ghostpipefish, taking during daytime with 2 strobes and a very short shuttertime. The short shutter makes the background very dark. cheers Rhoody

    I agree...fantastic shot. The best I've seen of that species by far. Compliments to the chef....

    Leavy Seadragon / Pipefish

    This one is for 415 GEM ...
    I think you wree a bit confused by the picture of Rhoody. Beautiful shot though !!
    This picture shows the LEAVY Sea Dragon some call it Leavy Pipefish...
    Anyway it occurs only in the Modarate waters of Australia . I used to have some way back in th Netherlands . They get easy internal parasites and cannot stand the temperatures that we have here...
    They are protected under the Australian Law !!!!

    A Wow ! Nice Earl

    Rhoody and Earl , I will be arriving Dumaguete mid October . Hope to be diving with you soon and sharing photo tips . I got a strobe ( YS - 60 S ) and a Heinrich - Weikamp bulkhead TTL for my basic 4 MP Olympus digi cam . I am shipping stuff from California ... anyone have experience with Balikbayan boxes from the USA ? Really nice shot Earl , hope to meet or chat you more in the future . Regards Kevin:smile:
