Checked the immigration prices on renewing visas today. It says "updated" but no date. I'm curious when all those express fees went into play. (I know they were there before but seems they have added some for the icard and raised the price the extension after the first 59 days.) Talking about the tourist visa here if you haven't figured by now. Seems to me more like a ploy to get more money and no actual "express" service is being offered. I'm also curious if the express fees will be charged if you are late or if there is only one express fee for a visit. Last time I was 6 months late and was only charged the 1k express fee plus all late fees, not all express fees I missed (which actually makes sense). So it ended up not costing all that much extra.
Just renewed today..no 6 month extension offered here yet...p7495 for visa extension and I card..which i need to back for in a month...lol
wow i have never paid that kind of money, I was led to believe the 6 month sticker is only avialable at international airport when you first arrived, i may be wrong on that cheers
The Bureau of Immigration, Philippines Official Website - VISA EXTENSION FEES (Updated!) This is the link for what is supposed to be paid for extending. Why do they charge USD for the icard and pesos for everything else?
Yes..i wasnt disputing the fee..the guy ahead of me paid excactly the same...do you have to get a new Icard every year?
