    Hehehehe..... and not forgetting :

    your sidewalk is our pavement
    your intersection is our crossroads
    your elevator is our lift
    your gas is our petrol
your gas is also our fart
    your underpass is our subway
    your subway is our tube

and I loved this one when I heard it on a radio chat show in DC........
your telephonic communication (9 syllables) is our phone call (2 syllables)

So what it means is that on EJ Blanco road, a Brit expat saw a lorry crash and an American expat would have seen a truck smash :D:D

well, I was wrong, SMB delivered and the Jimmy the owner had a cooler full of ice to make the beverage drinkable. So we sat there until -I have no clue what time- with candles, drinking cold beer and playing guitar...

once in a while also a good word about power, internet and cable TV provider, power was back 24 hours later and sunday afternoon cable and internet were also up and running.

So what's new? Happens frequently. Riveira Drive, EJ Blanco, Bantayan waiting shed area towards Silliman Farm, Fatima Village, North National Hi-way, especially when the high sided cargo trucks get new, cheapo, drivers from 'Illongo-land'. These idiots are either too drunk or too 'shabu-ed up' when they eventually get to DGT, that they don't know/have never seen the catastrophe that is the Noreco2/Cruztelco/Globelines/Fil products/Skycable sagging poles and lowered cables. They don't care either, they get a bit of resistance to forward movement, why stop? Pedal to the metal mate! Seen it outside my house, shattered 4 poles in 2-3 places each took out over 750m of live wire, truck left, got the number, reported to police, like that'll help... (of course it didn't, it's Philippines). Driver ran back to Bacolod, left us without power for 2 days, welcome to Dumaguete dude.
