Well theres good and bad news. 1st spoke to the store supervisor who said thats what meat smells like lol so after the the general manager came out from the supermarket and discussed the issues. Both just wanted to give a refund but i refused then they upped it to 2 whole chickens again i refused.
Then they decided to bring in two reps from the supplier all the way from sibulan, nice girls but told them that my issue was with robinsons supermarket not the supplier,by this time i could see the manager was getting distresssed so decided to leave and let them have a good think about their customers and how they should act in these situations. But i did make him sign the reciept to say i would not except the refund.
Im sure we will get to a mutual agreement at some point.

Ultimately, it is your fault if you buy rotting chicken as it gives off a distinctive odor even if it is just starting to rot. It doesn't matter if it is behind glass since you can always ask to smell each and every piece. I have been doing this for years and only had one issue in 10 years. A matter of hours can make a difference, so it you plan to refrigerate over night and eat it for dinner the next afternoon, there is always the chance it may turn during that period of time, so I almost always plan to cook the chicken the day I purchase it. Otherwise just put it in the freezer for overnight storage.

We buy some meat at Lee Hypermart. For good meat, i spend a little extra and get at JLH, the deli under Don Atilano restaurant on the Boulevard. Frozen but a slow thaw in the fridge does wonders. For large quantities, Belcris is best, i think. Hypermart might be good for chickens. Agree Robinson's has a bad smell around the meat/chicken/fish areas sometimes, scary...
