    I found this animal at the beach today and have never seen it before.

    i forgot the name of that ( white thing), I think that can be eaten. Many of that can even be found of some floating bamboos in the sea.

    These are Goose Barnacles, filter-feeding crustaceans attached to floating objects at sea.
