Moving to the Dumaguete area next week from the states... anyone know where I can pick up a couple of adapters so I can run my laptop, etc?
You probably will not need an adapter. The laptop charger accepts a range of electricity. 110v - 240v and 50 or 60 Hz US 120v 60 Hz Philippines 220v 60 Hz The outlets here are the same as in the US. Two flat prongs. Often there is no ground so you can either remove the ground prong from your plug or get an adapter.
The big hardware stores here sell short extension cables with 3 or 4 sockets attached and also USB charging from most of them and these accept a multitude of different plugs even the 3pin from UK a great buy and not expensive.
