hmmm, somehow it sounds exactly what could be expected... that much to great price and customer service.

Seems not having and also not missing TV since 9 years is the best technical solution. Two 22" monitors and 7TB Hard-drives full with most thinkable Series/Movies/Music Videos is enough to keep the family busy, and even better, my little ones don't get square eyes and heartache from all that drama on TV.

I have to agree with most of your experience only we seem to have experienced many more signal outages than you have. I have been pretty disappointed with it so far.

Not being home most of the time (and when I'm home I'm almost always on the computer :p), I think my mom has experienced more outages than I have. Just earlier she said she had a "no signal" during the Pacquiao fight.

    How is PPV?

Last week I went to Filproducts to see if they service my area of Bacong. They gave me a form and told me to copy my ID and bring it back with the form. Next day I did that, they told me they would do a survey in the next 3-5 days and let me know if there is service. Didn't hear back so I went there yesterday to get an update. It was PatO who? No computer record and no paper documents to be found. I went back a 2nd time bringing my wife hoping she could talk in the local language and find us. Nope, so I mumbled "this is b.s." and filled out the form and started the process once again.
The same day last week I went to Globe and applied for internet service. They also said they would have to do a survey to see if service is provided where I live and would call me. Sure enough, yesterday they called with good news.
Back to Filproducts, why couldn't they issue me a receipt or at least a reference number?
On our own, we checked with the house closest to us, about 1/4 k away and was glad to here that they have Filproducts so I am hopeful that eventually I will have service installed before we move in.
