I would like to say i enjoyed my stay in dumaguete city. i had alot of fun experiancing the filipino culture and people. I was on the reuben james when we pulled into dumaguete last year, and we were not there for any reason besides to spend good time and help out in the community. we enjoy helping were we can and we enjoy being aroud the gentle and friendly people in dumaguete. i was glad to read all of the people who enjoyed our stay in dumaguete and i plan on visiting dumaguete again soon. RHB im not sure if you had spies trying to figure out why we were there as u said in your posting, but i promise you we had no secret missions in the philipines. We were scheduled to visit dumaguete way before china so my ship not goin to china had nothing to do with our planned visit to the island of gentle people.

I was on the reuben James navy ship when we pulled into dumaguete, we were not there for any thing regarding oil. we were there to relax have fun ad meet the friendly and gentle people in dumaguete. that we did. i had fun, and i intend on visiting again. we also visited other philipine islands as well because our goal was to help out and show support to the philipines any way we could help.

we had a barge for our trash parked next to us, and a smallboat that brought us to the pier from the ship. any other small boat was security. no booms rhb. it makes for good conversation but we are friends with the filipinos.
