I never had any problems with Wishy Washy in Piapi. They sell the best chocolate brownies and rocky road in Dumaguete there too!

The laundrymat that they mention earlier thats at the north road is called American Laundry. I usually send my clothes there because they also do deliveries which is convenient to me

When you're sending your laundry to any laundry service, its always a good idea to keep an inventory of what you send then cross check it when you receive the washed laundry. That way, you'd notice what pieces of clothing is missing right away and you know exactly what it is. People tend to only realize something is missing until its too late so maybe that's why those people at the laundry place don't know where it is?

    Laundry Services..

Have You considered "American Laundry" just past Freedom park next door to the Yamaha Motorcycle dealer? Whenever I'm there that's where I take My clothes. The Owner is a Filipina Who's Husband is The U.S. Navy and He ships many of the products She uses {if I'm not mistaken} from Costco wholesale in
the states, and I'm thinking that the washing machines that They are using are second hand and also from the States. They will even pick up Your clothes and deliver Them for You too at no extra charge{well maybe a tip of course}. Besides that, They make a list of everything You bring to Them. Even though I have a lavendara when I'm at home on vacation there, that the rest of My Family still uses while I'm visiting,I prefer to use Amercan Laundries services because that way I know My clothes will get rinsed thoroughly and won't have that Mildewy/moldy smell when I start to sweat. I think the cost is around P20 Per Kilo, and an extra charge if You include Ironing or express service, otherwise You will pick up Your clothes up at the same time You left them on the next day. I hope this helps You out..John...

A list doesn't help if it's already been stolen and is off at one of the workers' homes. Or in someone else's bag of laundry. I'd say once something's missing out of your laundry it's gone for good.

I'm not sure, but it sure seems like clothes washed at laundry services here start fading really fast. They must use some sort of industrial strength detergent ..

Its the same with having your clothes done in the Arabain Gulf states. There is not so much requlation concerning the chemicals used to clean your clothes.

American Laundry? Really? I just called them...after looking up their number online cuz it's not in the Dgte directory

    Do you pick up today?

No it's Sunday, pu guy isn't working (okay)

Are you open the rest of the day?

    sir?

I don't want to take a tricycle there and you're closed for a snack break..

    silence

    Hello

phone clangs around and I hear someone running off-kids in background

The usual nonsense. Undrepaid workers minding their kids on the job? Guess you can't get English speaking workers for P80/day or so ha?

    I'll go somewhere else

I don't actually know the difference between " English and American English "

Except the spelling of American words are somewhat void :p
