Just a few shots from the Typhoon we just had here. The whole region can be glad that there was not really much rain involved and most of the damage came from wind and waves.

A kind of weird, the Typhoon left the forecast-track, just to hit us and then turned back on track...

Thanks very much for the pictures, yes it's strange how it came directly over dumaguete,
I a still waiting to hear from family as to the damage to our place, we praying it not to bad,
The only thing to say really is it could been worse from the direction it went.

It is heartwarming, to see how the Local Families, Pull together at these times. Even Family Feuds, seem to stop, for the duration, I hope in many cases it can heal Wounds. In Junob we were lucky, as Rhoody said, Good, there was not too much rain, there was enough, to Flood things but the levels, were no where near the last time. The early evacuation plan seemed to Work well Would I be right in saying. a Thank You, to the City Council for fore thought on this one. even, a Well Done!

Thanks Rhoody for all the pics.

    Notes to self:
1)Do not park nice car, truck, or SUV outside during a typhoon.
2)Make sure all roofs are not only typhoon proof, but large tree proof; cut down ALL trees within striking distance of roof, nice car, truck, or SUV; or brace trees within striking distance to fall on neighbors nice car, SUV, truck, or roof.
3)Buy generator, case of candles, case of beef jerky, cases of canned foods, and 2 extra batteries for cellphone to keep wife busy
    4)Cancel Christmas card for NORECO
    5)Find a market for unrepairable inside-out umbrellas

Thanks for the photos Rhoody. We have a small beach hut in Dauin where some of the locals go at night to make babies. Anyone can use it since there is an open area and there is no light. Our caretaker texted us that the small hut was washed away into the sea during the typhoon. Im sure lots of couples are sad because of that, sorry folks find another date venue lol :D its just walking distance from El Dorado and we only go there like 3x a year. After seeing the photos of Dauin damage, our small hut can't possibly survive after that. Thank you again for the photos...
