Any recommendations on where to buy a good used truck? Clear title and all that good stuff... moving to the Siaton are within the week from the states. My girlfriend already has a bike for simple trips but I know I'm going to need a truck not long after I get there.

Other posts have talked about talking to the banks and looking for a repo.

Many of us have bought a Rusco (mine 4x4). Not too expensive, plenty of parts, and most mechanics know how to repair them. Good luck.

Has anyone purchased a used Rusco? Is it worth the savings buying used vs new?

How long do they last (average).

I know it is hard to have a good figure since they are basicly all used and put together from spare parts from Japan.
Weighing risk of used and not knowing history
    Vs
New and not knowing how well "the guy" who put it together did, or how good the parts were.

We bought a used "Filipino Ferrari" aka Rusco about 5 years ago. Good workhorse around the farm, can carry its own weight in the back and very economical to run and also repair. Good bit of kit and "top of the bergen".
