It may help to know first that, for these to take effect, all Philippine laws, rules, regulations, and guidelines are required by Executive Order No. 200 (June 18, 1987) to be published for fifteen days either in the Official Gazette, the official journal of the Republic of the Philippines, or in any newspaper of general circulation. Subsequently, all guidelines issued by local government units reiterate or echo in wording these duly approved and published legislations, rules, etc. for local implementation or execution.

On the latest community quarantine classifications by area, a Memorandum From The Executive Secretary on January 29, 2021 placed Negros Oriental under Modified General Community Quarantine again from February 1-28, 2021. On the latest guidance on community quarantine, the Omnibus Guidelines On The Implementation Of Community Quarantine In The Philippines With Amendments As Of January 21, 2021 listed the protocols to be observed under Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) in Section 5 (items 1 to 14) thereof, found in pages 19 to 21 of 27 pages at https://www.officialgazette.gov.ph/downloads/2021/01jan/20210121-IATF-OMNIBUS-GUIDELINES-RRD.pdf,

Unfortunately, if you missed radio broadcasts of day to day official reports on the CoVid-19 case situation in Negros Oriental, there is no alternative listening option but to watch the live report videos posted in the public facebook account of the Provincial Government of Negros Oriental at https://www.facebook.com/lgu.negor/ The data are based on actual laboratory test results received each day and are broadcasted in a mix of Cebuano and English language to update the Rural Health Units and the public in general. These live reports are actually the news source of Yes the Best Dumaguete, Hukad, etc., etc. albeit details important to some get excluded or subsumed in the generalized news reporting. For example: 1) In the February 17, 2021 video, it was reported that a 71 year old Swiss national from Barangay Combado, Bacong who opted to be tested on February 16, 2021 for travel purpose was confirmed CoVid-19 positive same day. He is asymptomatic and he is now confined at the Bacong Isolation Facility; 2) In the February 18, 2021 video, it was reported that an American national from Barangay Camanjac in Dumaguete City who opted to be tested on February 17, 2021 for travel purpose was confirmed positive same day. He is nw confined at the Dumaguete Isolation Facility.

We hear every day about people getting infected and then overcoming, so it's no longer a big deal unless one is in the ICU to be able to breathe. Still, I agree it does pay to know what's happening around us in terms of regulatory guidance and case updates.
