I just got vaccinated in Alfonso, Cavite where I live. Although the procedure's will of course vary from locality to locality I thought I would give some info on how it went here in case it may be of some help when the vaccines arrive in Dumaguete.

Sinovac was the vaccine I received, not my first choice but after researching it I decided that it was better to get now than wait for a better choice given my age. My second shot will be given on May 20th and evidently they are here and in storage. Novovax will arrive here soon.

We were notified of availability via the mayors Facebook page and a link was given to sign up. First responders and senior citizens for now. It was assigned on first come first serve basis, citizens and expat's treated the same. They ran out after four days and the rest of the signees will have to wait for the next batch.

One requirement was a photo ID showing my residence as Alfonso. I used my SSRV with no problem and was told drivers license would also do. So if you live in Duma I would suggest you make sure you have an ID that says so.

Covid is running wild here, we have a clinic and ambulance service run by the HOA of the housing estate where I live, a week ago we had a resident with a non covid related problem who was taken to 10 hospitals before he could find one that would admit him.
