Without trying to state the obvious, have you tried the Kia dealer near the airport? If you want to go more economically, there are lots of surplus shops located round the city, exactly for the "old banger battalions"!:D

Thinking the obvious, Kia was the first plce I taken it to for brakes and they informed me to look around for parts stores or shops that may carry item for this type of Veh. for they can not order for this Kia Sportage due to being a surplus car. Not sure what the difference is but this is a 3rd would country :-) Things are different here. Kia did say you can get those types of items surplus from Cebu but wanted to check around here in the Dumaguete first. Thanks KTM for pointing out the obvious for me :-) So still need info if out there!!!!!

Actually if truth be told, the dealers aren't too interested in surplus units or helping the owners, not only Kia, I know Mitsubishi aren't that keen either, as they didn't make any money whilst selling them.
Try well stocked, smaller shops (example JVL) round the corner from the Shell gas station just south of the cathedral, or Dap-Sy (Dumaguete Auto Parts), near the Ceres Liner terminal. If they don't have what you are looking for, just ask where they reckon you can find it/them. Most of the people in these type of shops are fairly helpful.
