    We are living in the first half of our house build and already find that the shared transformer is not adequate for our needs. Want to source a new one for our use only and would like info on where to buy. Have a guy coming out today that works for Polaris to wire our transfer switch for the Gen but would like to know of any other sources to compare prices... thanks

    I understand that the 15kVA transformers can be bought, or rented, from Noreco. Noreco them sell at about the same price as Polaris - certainly worth an enquiry.

    We bought one for our house in Bacong, I thought it was from the electric company.

    A friend of mine had one fitted quite recently, I'm sure that was bought from Polaris and fitted by Noreco, the price all in was P71K, but I'm not sure of the rating of it?
