⌛ 3 nights and some dives at Siquijor

For those who expect a big adventure report, pls go to another thread, cause I was a lazy fat german tourist that time... hehe...

We were not busy for a couple of days at Atlantis so I decided to bring my little one and my very little one for 3 days to Siquijor. My plan was tke Larena area because I know the cocogrove area already. We took the slow Montenegro - ferry at 6pm. Adults 100 peso, kids half price(57.50 ???, maybe they have a broken calculator...) We arrived at 8pm and arranged a free pick up from Kiwi-Dive-Resort.(They offer a free pick up from Larena, the drop of on departure is 150 peso). After a 15 minute ride we arrived at the resort. Very friendly stuff welcomed us. We stayed at th biggest cottage right at the beach. simple but nice (no TV or aircon) If you wanna use the stove or ref you pay some peso extra.The Moskito-nets (without holes) are installed over the bed. not that there are millions of moskitos in the room, but we all know some single bites at night can be a big pain in the ____.
What is a dive-instructor doing on his off-day.... sure going diving. I did 3 dives with Kiwi-dive resort. The rental gear is ok for a small place, if you need special size (XS or like me double-M) better bring your own wetsuit. As the water is 29 celsius i doved with a t-shirt. The divemaster did a good quick briefing on the boat and down we went. great visibility and no rush under water... so my little one and me had some great fun-dives. no bigger complains. My little-little one stayed at the white sandy beach and played with starfish and thousands of small soldier-crabs. between two dives I took her out sitting on my back for a house-reef snorkeling trip. we found 2 turtles and a seasnake fantasic healthy corals in 3-5 meters of water, so also no complaints from her side.
The food there is ala card and should be ordered way ahead. as a big man, better order 2 dishes, the prices are fair.
As Kiwi is an older resort you can see that there are some repairs needed. I hope Bruce is investing a few dollar, cause it's a great place and it would be sad to see that place going down. All in all a nice long weekend to relax and being lazy....
