    NOT GIANT CLAM but HYOTISSA HYOTIS

    Very sorry to correct you guys , This is NOT a Giant Clam ( Tidacna sp) But the HONEYCOMB OYSTER ....HYOTISSA HYOTIS... And it is VERY MUCH ALIVE... The Edge of the Bivalva Tridacna's shells is complety different Look close to theses SHARP V- shape points.
    I have already posted many examples of Tridacna sp (types) in previous posts...

    Picture below is of a LIFE species as you can see , NO tissue is OUTSIDE the shell to be seen...
