Have you tried the Paint shops?

 

Knowing that acetone is used in fiberglass manufacturing you could do like I use to do back in Oz and turn up at a business that may sell you some...

Acetone is just nail polish remover. Any store that filipinas go to has that, depending on how much you need.

 

My painter uses it to Clean out the nozzles on the Paint holders (used with the Compressor) when he has finished one colour and is going to another or Finishes for the Night.
That was the reason I suggested a Paint shop for Quantity

That's fine. You will do as you need. But I must get a bit pedantic here and point out that you are correct that all kinds or nail polish remover are not 100% acetone BUT, as I said, 100% acetone IS nail polish remover and you can find it in most places that kind of thing is sold. Check the label and look for one that says this:

 

I read reviews on that brand recently and users weren't happy with it. It's "scented" which may reduce it's effectiveness.

Onyx brand seems to be the one to have. Most sellers won't ship it overseas, but they'll ship it anywhere in the US-which means it must be relatively safe to put in someone's balikbayan box
