Using strong language doesn't exactly help to convince people to join your apparent disapproval of monarchies. Yes, monarchies are relics of the past, but any time would be a better time than now to discuss the supposed benefits of a republic.

A story was told today of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh out walking near Balmoral They came across a tourist couple from America who asked them if they had ever met the Queen. The Queen quickly replied no, but he has, pointing to Prince Phillip! The couple asked could they have their photograph taken with him and handed her their camera to which the Queen duly obliged.
