So far I've come across two furnished apartments possibilities in Dumaguete, one being apartments-for-rent, the other villa-princesa. However, neither has any reviews on the web. Can anyone say anything about either of these for a person just arriving in Dumaguete? Are there any other choices other than a hotel? Many thanks, M
There are many apartments in dumaguete, not all with websites, just ask around or go to the tourist office.
be aware of the overpriced ones also. a furnished ordinary 2 bedroom one would not cost more than 15ooo pesos. if u are looking for a bachelors pad furnished one just beside silliman let me know so i can introduce u to the owner. newly built and only 10 thousand pesos with all the amenities like wifi, bed, ref,ricecooker,...
Thank you, DavyL and Minime for your advice. I am hoping to have a furnished apartment ready when I arrive mid june, so that I can arrive in Manila in morning, catch a flight to Dumaguete, and be set up in my apartment right away rather than staying in a hotel. This may not be such a good idea, however, and I would appreciate your suggestions. Obviously, as concerns "dumaguete furnished apartments" and "villa princessa" furnished apartments, anyone with direct knowledge or either location or others will have very valuable information for me. Beware if you come across a 3 bedroom apartment in Banilad, Dumaguete, and is about 500 meters off of the South Highway on a well paved road. the woman Emy is very unprofessional - left me in all sorts of trouble by giving the apartment to a relative so she said 2 days before it was to leave Bacolod and move in, after a month of negations and preparation.
It can not be so difficult to find an apartment, just go to this cite:Dumaguete City - Negros Oriental - Apo Island - Siquijor - Philippines - Dumaguete And look around what is available.
