It's been announced that UK Police will be given a futher 10 vans equipped with Face Recognition as part of a trial experiment, to catch criminals or wanted persons. Apparently they say it has already been proved successful in other parts of the country. Cars and other vehicles registraition plates, are already being scanned for Road tax and Insurance avoidance. While this may be welcomed by Law Abiding Citizens, it surely puts into question, are we slowly becoming a Police controlled state? It also highlights the use of AI, which could in the near future watch every movement of each individual to the point of control......Just another thought
