I find it hard to feel sorry for the taxi driver. He probably was driving like an idiot and the cop did what a lot of us would like to do to some of these idiotic driver's vehicles.
At first glace it seems like the police were out of line, certainly out of the context of the law. After reading the article it is apparent that there was a lot of lawlessness going around for both parties The Taxi driver was warned numerous times, and the policeman was working beyound his authoritative powers by breaking the glass. However two wrongs do not make a right. It is interesting how the "revenge" or "long standing feud" system of justice system works here but that should be for another thread
The real reason was, that the Taxi Driver probably was overdue in paying protection..................LOL :D
CNN sucks now, too depressing. From Sydney to crap hole Pakistan too much outrageous murdering. I will turn to the cartoon channel with my boy. Note: not sitting here locked and loaded, my municipal police said they will protect me when they came to sing Christmas carols the other night, while inviting me to their Christmas party Saturday night, in case I wanted to donate for the party (of course implied, not explicit). We had them also dave and were invited to the party. They didn't get so much as last year as they have not done much! They can sing well though better than the locals.
