    What a total disregard for pedistrians and bikes! But if you want to experience crazy driving take a drive in Egypt. It something you won't do twice unless you really have to.

    Wow.

    After so many years of living in and visiting the Philippines, I have to agree it is safer.

    I drove in the PI for close to 5.5 years on two tours in Subic. We made many trips to AC in the early 80's before they had the new highway. We even made one round trip to Baguio that at times was the scariest of all.

    I still think that the buses and large trucks go to fast and create so many accidents by not slowing down and flashing thier lights at you to move and get out of the way.

    When I do make the move, I will not be driving at all. I will have someone in the family learn to drive and that is what they will do.

    I think Ceres drivers go to (wanna be) Nascar driving school before getting behind the wheel! :D
