    I have been living overseas for about 12 years now, nearly 9 yrs in China and nearly 4 yrs here, now in Bacolod, and have a problem;

    I have have not heard the words "wanker", "poofter" "'dipstick" esky, tinny, shelia, etc etc.

    I have not been asked to "shout a round" and have not been told "I'm as thick as two short planks".

    My Aussie mates have not borrowed my lawnmower, car, or tinny and returned it rooted. They have not kicked my dog or laid eyes on my wife.

    I have not argued about footy.

    Do expats meet on a regular or irregular basis in Bacolod ?

    Sorry I can't answer your main question, but I spent a year in Australia and remember a few more common terms. Septic Tanks, Underpants and calling someone Queer as a two bob watch. Nothing sarcastic just for fun.:D
