I'm asking for a friend here. I don't know of any myself. If anyone is interested, I would probably be willing to do a once-a-week night.

We Used to do that a few years back. I even let them play at my place with no table charge. Back then we went to a few places not always the same, but eventually everyone lost interest

    Hey Dude

You may be aware of this, but if you aren't, go to PoolBum... All Things Pool |. This is a relatively new site by a 'kano' resident of Dumaguete, David. He knows the area and all the billiards places and people well. May be of some help.

Mike in Florida soon to retire in RP, eventually Dumaguete

Have you tried the Sportsbar, around the corner from Why Not? I haven't been there in awhile, but they used to have something regular.

Some of the guys at the sportsbar are really good. I go there sometimes to have a beer and just watch them.

Is that the name of this place, just "Sportsbar?" That sounds like fun!

The Time-Out Bar near the new Robinson's Mall just installed 2 new Billiard Tables on the second floor. It is open daily at Noon.

It's part of the honeycomb. The enterance is on the side-street just off the boulivard.

One big plus is it has AIRCON.

Who's running it now? Last May, ran into James in Manila. Said he was going back to the States.

[edit] oh, forgot to plug the private garden..., shoot pool with a nice ocean view.

    sportsbar is closed...

but the honeycomb bar towards the boulevard has the coldet beer in this are at present and very attentive waitresses. Good change there to the better side...

..wonder why some others in this area are not able to make beer cold drinkable... AND having it served without yelling through the whole place 'caus the waitresses are hiding somewhere...
