Cebu Any Pros/Cons for PAL or Cebu Pacific?

I am looking to book a HKG to MNL, Philippine Air Line and Cebu Pacific are essentially the same price. Has anyone had good or bad experiences to suggest one over the other?

 

I was wondering why just those two? That is like a taxi Hop for many Airlines. Personally I would look at Cathay or Singapore Airlines but the choice is so varied. Budget Airlines do that Run also.
To your Question, on that Run I have never used CP but from Past experience on other routes I would choose PAL every time.

Thanks, I mention those two because the fares are $109 the rest are $300+. Same on the multiple sites I looked at.

I HAVE FLOWN CEBU PACIFIC SEVERAL TIMES! THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN COURTEOUS, ON TIME, FRIENDLY AND ACCOMMODATING ON SEAT REQUESTS! MY LAST TIME ON PAL WAS 6 YEARS AGO ON A FEW FLIGHTS TO THE STATES! THE LONG FLIGHTS WERE A PIECE OF CAKE AND ENJOYABLE ALSO! SO I GUESS MY EXPERIENCES ARE ALL POSITIVE FOR BOTH!!

 

When I had to change the date of a (domestic) flight on PAL, it could only be done by phoning the callcentre in Manila (from overseas). With Cebu Pacific, everything can be done on the website.
