I post process most of my images to adjust contrast, tonal quality and sharpness. I basically try to capture the way it actually appears in real time. It really did look like a fiery dragon rising up from Mt. Talinis. 2 minutes later, it was gone. The only image that uses 'trickery" is photo 4. This is a double exposure; telephoto moon shot on a wider angle sunset shot.

Are you tripping on acid when you take these photos? The only time I've seen colors that vibrant is when I was tripping balls on psycedelics...allegedly...supposedly...not really...I would never do that, disregard post.

I used to shoot in RAW format, but Canon's internal JPEG processor is so good that I seldom use RAW any more. Plus, I hate spending a lot of time editing photos. I'm using Canon's entry-level mirroless camera (EOS M10), which gives you a lot of options for adjusting the in-camera parameters (EV, sharpness, white balance, saturation, tone, etc.). If I get the parameters right, little post-processing is necessary. I touch up the JPEG images using either Canon's Digital Photo Processor 4 or Nik collection's HDR Efex Pro 2. Bit I think most of the credit goes to that great APS-C format image sensor!

I cannot abide Redhorse. San Mig is fine if you chase it down with Johnny Walker.
