Question "AVAST" Anti Virus.

    :geek: I have recently put Avast Anti Virus on as I had success before but over the last 2 days I have been getting a Warning pop up on a certain issue that no where else in the System is bothering. The object is this

    anyone ever had this come up? Anyone know what it is.?

    Blasted thing keeps popping up every few minuets. very annoying :rage:

    Look in your Chrome extensions and see if you have an extension running that you did not install. (Menu Button>More Tools>Extensions)

    So these are pop-up advertisements you are seeing? Have you checked your installed programs list to see if anything funny is on there?

    :cautious: Had a good look around and there seems to be no Problems SO I did what was best and took it off. Put Avira back on and no problem.

    Seems, Avast Like McAfee, are not interested in the End user as they profess to be. so I just voted with a hit, on uninstall and told them why! :banghead:

    Not in the mood for Stupidity. You can't fix stupid so....................:thumbsup:

    Glad it sorted jp, did you ever try avg free? When I used a PC I never had a prob with them and always blocked what it was supposed to and updated when needed to.

    Personally I never liked AVG but if this lot fail I will give it another try, sometimes what works ( Or doesn't as the case may be) in Europe may or may not work here, but then we will see!:wink:
