    Just saw something on tv news about two Filipinos, 1 who was a diver/instructor? and security guard murdered in Bacong. Couldn't tell if it was the same incident or not.

    I guess it's a recent happening?

    Two,different incidents so I was told yesterday,one was bacong and one in dauin.

    Evening news just now said the two victims who worked at the same resort were riding a motorcycle after dark, and they had been drinking somewhere.

    Robbery is suspected.

    Pat, spoke with the chief at bacong earlier and he said their were two killings here in bacong, they were suspected of robbing houses of foreigners. No suspects yet as to who shot them! Happened on June 4 th.

    So, I guess there is absolutely nothing new here. The police don't know who did it and both the victims were alledgedly, 'theiving' ratbags that preyed on 'tourist' residences, as per our 'beloved' police force. Can't really say that this is the first time I've heard a similar story......!

    The proper word used should have been "Salvaged".. This will never go anywhere in court and no one will be caught but the nice part is they won't do it again either..

    Sadly there are no guarantees that the off duty hit squads actually take out the bad guys. The real criminals are much too well protected.

    Whether or not they get the right guys may be questionable, it is also quite questionable whether the authorities get the right guys IF and when they do get someone. It seems they are more concerned with getting a conviction, ANY conviction, whether it is the actual perpetrator or not. Case in point Ella Joy Pique.

    One thing that can be said, when the vigilantes start hitting the crime rate drops significantly.
