My fiancé regularly deposits 5000php into her BDO savings account. We never check it nor does she withdraw funds from it with the debit card or use it for any online shopping. A few days ago we noticed it hasn't been growing as expected while sitting with one of the girl's in the bank depositing another 5k. When we printed out and reviewed a last six months statement we were shocked to see multiple smallish online withdrawals from it, four or five from late summer for 100 to 200php, then three around 3000php, spaced weeks apart. Some of these were withdrawn when we were out of the country with her debit card here in the drawer. The BDO girl filed a complaint and is "investigating" it, which takes 30 working days she said. A friend said it has to be from inside the bank by employee's. What say you all?
Just saw your post. Quiet interesting. Did you receive any feedback from your bank ? We have a saving depot at BDO as well. Maybe time to change the bank.
