The province of Bohol is one of the best tourist destinations in the Philippines. With all its pristine beaches and well-preserved environment, it is undoubtedly one of the most sought after vacation spots in the country. Visitors of all colors and from all ages flock to this province to experience its wonderful white sand beaches and beautiful scenery.

Located just southeast of Cebu, adventure-seekers would surely be enchanted by the beauty of Bohol and the attractiveness of the beaches lining up along its coastline. The most famous of these are the Alona Beach, the Bikini Beach, the Dumaluan Beach, the Doljo Beach and the Momo Beach.

The Alona Beach is the most developed among all these beaches. It is known for its excellent diving shops and cozy restaurants. Visitors can truly enjoy the good food and amenities offered by the nice resorts lining up in the area. However, a major disadvantage of this beach is the high population of sea urchins living within its waters.

Another cool place to visit is the Dumaluan Beach. It lies just adjacent to the Alona Beach. Here visitors can truly enjoy the privacy offered by the more exclusive beach resorts. Meanwhile, the Doljo Beach is well-liked by swimmers and divers because the sea-grasses here do not disturb its crystal clear waters. It is also famous for the beautiful seashells lying along its coasts.

The eco-tourism in Bohol is still young but it is flourishing at a very fast pace. It offers visitors insurmountable fun and lots of outdoor activities. With all the beautiful beaches, visitors from all nationalities have come to experience the first-class diving sites of the province. Some of the most popular sites among divers are Rico’s Wall, Rudy’s Rock and the Black Forest.

But that’s not all. The waters of Bohol are also known for dolphin and whale watching. Visitors can book at several tour providers for a captivating view of the dolphins and whales within the area. Most of the beach resorts offer scuba diving as well. This activity provides visitors the opportunity to feel and experience the breathtaking underwater scenery that the province is known for.

These beaches play a major role in the development of Bohol. They provide local residents with jobs while giving domestic and foreign visitors something worth remembering for for the rest of their lives. The world-class services offered by the beach resorts, together with the hospitality of the Boholanos, are just some of the many reasons why visitors just keep coming back for more.

The beaches of Bohol will surely captivate the hearts of its visitors. The rapid improvement in all its beaches will contribute to the development of tourism in the province. These beaches offer fun and boundless outdoor activities for visitors to enjoy.
