Ok let me start a new question. I like to meet new people and enjoy good rock music so as a person who has come from another world what would be the best place to go to. Now this could be a great rock place or a great drinking place with a varity of people. Looks like this Coyote Bar seeems to be the place? Also the more I read your blogs the more interesting Dumaguete seems. Ok I have posed the question and now let's see what I get as feedback? yours The Spook

Another area to meet expats is McDonald's in the morning. A lot of Americans like to meet there for morning coffee.

    Wifi Connection

Hey could I get some feedback about wifi connection in Mc Donalds, I think the service is free, wondering if my laptop from US will be able to connect. Met a guy at the Dum aorport and he said I may need the pc adjusted or configured any suggs. thanks in advance and hope to chat with expats at Mc Donalds in July.

Your laptop should work fine...there is no charge for the wifi.

You want live rock music? The bands vary, but I think Hayahay usually has the most consistent line-up of live music. (But not always rock.)

... I don't think the signal at Mc DO in Duma is that strong that you can connect with your laptop from US... whatever configuration you make
