If you want to get one out of you house because he makes too much noise and shits on everything...

    Watch out....

They bite hard and they won't let go.

Its a gecko that grows to over a foot long that makes that strange "TUKAW.......TUKAW........TUKAW"
    noise at night.

If they die in the house, behind a bookcase, or in a sofa for example, you'll know they're there....Annoying dead or alive...

I know now what you meant. We called that "tuko", a spotted lizard (much bigger than the ordinary lizard). It sounds like this ... tuko ....tuko...tuko. ..not tukaw (lol).

There's a Filipino belief I heard of in Bacong that having a gecko in the house means good luck financially. And if you kill them inside your house it's bad luck...

If I killed him he wouldn't have bit me, but being the nice guy that I am, I was simply "relocating" the fine little fellow to a spot more appreciative to his nocturnal cantabile.
