Does anyone know of any people or places that buy used glass bottles or something similar? When I lived in Calindagan Dumaguete, there was a guy that would come around once a week with something like a push wagon, and he would measure the weight of all your glass bottles (beer bottles, tanduay, oil, juice, you get the point, and would pay you depending on how much it all weighed. I don't recall the price or what measurement it was weighed in, and I have since moved outside of downtown dumaguete. Was just wondering if anyone knew of this still going on. I have a shitload of glass bottles stored up from over the years I need to get rid of.

Does anyone know if they take broken Glass? I have been thinking of investing in a few Plastic Pales (the large ones like they discard/sell at the Bakery's) and flattening the Tins and plastic Bottles and breaking the Glass down to fit more in like my old FIL use to do back in Oz... The wife throws all of that away here in the Garbage Bags for collection which I think is such a waste.
Are the not Salvage/Scrap yards in the Area you live, It would surprise me if there are not, Rubbish is money here
