I tried to do a search on how long to dry out calamansi seeds before trying to plant them but came up short. We had a calamansi tree pop up in the yard close to where we had the dirty kitchen for the workers, the wife dug it up and transplanted into a pot. I asked her to put it where the pups could not get at it, but after a couple weeks untouched they decided to take it out. I have some seeds I collected as we use calamansi in a number of dishes or sauces and would like to start some them to see if I can get any to grow. Shawn
3 years from what I've read, easier to buy a tree but the wife is getting into growing things from seed as well. I do think you have more of an "ownership" feeling when you nurtured it from seed...maybe another thing I am weird about. Shawn
