I drink so much while I'm observing that sometimes I'm not sure if what I'm seeing is real. So I take lots of pictures to validate my sanity. Here are some recent images from my Observatory Pub.
The Lunar images were taken thru the telescope eyepiece at 85X. The Solar image is 25X thru a Hydrogen-Alpha scope. I use cheap compact cameras for the scope set-up. The Moon is awesome. Even after 50 years of observing, it's like I'm seeing it for the first time.
