    Was doing some research and found this page online, I thought it may help some here who are looking at what Mobile/Cell Phone carrier they wish to go for depending on where they live and who would like to compare which carrier has the best coverage for their area;

    Coverage Maps

    I was searching for coverage around the Zamboanguita area, so you can easily customise it to suit yourself as to which area you live in by going to the Drop Box in the top left hand corner and switch out Zamboanguita for your area.

    Also the top tight Drop Box, you can choose from;
    Globe 4G
    Globe 3G-4G
    Islacom 2G-3G
    Smart 4G
    Smart 2G-3G
    Sun 2G-3G

    I know I learnt something today regards coverage in my area... :wink:

    PS:
    This link explains the different options with 2G-3G-4G and it looks like 2G-3G is the best option here IMHO;
    Looks like they are all phasing out the GSM 2G in favour of the 3G [Good coverage area] and 4G [Poor coverage area]

    Well Telstra has pulled out of the Philippines and San Miguel plans to go it on their own, so do not expect/wait for any improvements in services or coverage anytime soon... :dead:

    Read "The Obstacles" & "The Corruption" sections and I think it is plain to see why it would not have worked here...
    "Its More Fun in the Philippines" :shifty:

    Why Telstra may have dodged a bullet in the Philippines
