As the Philippines is not that famous a tourist spot as Tokyo, Paris, New York or London – although its popularity is certainly on the rise – you may find yourself facing a shortage of information regarding the what’s and what not’s for Philippine travel.

It’s easy to fit in when you travel to the Philippines because the fashion scene is more or less patterned after the catwalks of the Western world. Do stay away, however, from the avant garde because Filipinos rarely see it being worn outside the TV screens and galas for the rich and famous.

To accommodate the heat and the humid weather of the Philippine, make sure that your baggage contains light clothes. Oh, and do get rid of all those winter coats if you include it in your travel pack because in the Philippines, it won’t be of any use at all.
