Our friend has a fracture in her leg near her ankle. First day at Provincial they do an x-ray. Second day give the result at 11am. Go back at 1pm to have the Dr. put a splint or cast on and at 4:30pm told to come back tomorrow at 8am. They say too many patients. Anyone know the cost of a splint or leg cast at Holy Child? Considering going there at 7am to emergency and starting over. Thanks for any input.
I wouldn't recommend that you show up yourself. Send the wife/gf/Filipino friend with the friend. Avoid the long nose tax whenever possible. Make sure that you get the original x-ray photo so that you can take it with you to Holy Child to avoid having to do it again there. Avoid Provincial and go for the better treatment. I'm sure your friend would like to avoid walking with a limp for the rest of his/her life.
That's if they Plastered the Right (not as In the Right or left and right) Leg in the First place. Hey Don't Smirk! It happens JP
After 6 hours today being the third day, she came home with a cast, on the correct leg, and will return in 4 weeks to have it removed. Total cost was 700p, 300 for xray and 400 for cast. Hopefully all will be ok. Thanks for input from all and will update in 4 weeks.
