An astute forum member a while back posted Covid will be here forever. So far, spot on. Now monkey pox was brought here recently. I still remember how miserable chicken pox was as a kid. Thankfully, they are saying monkey pox is not as contagious as chicken pox was. Sure hope so.
Attached is a fact sheet from NSW Health (NSW is a state of Australia) and provides information on Monkeypox. Having read your postings for a long time, with respect, it doesn't look like something you are likely to get. Keep well everyone.
I understand, from limited reading, that monkeypox is actually believed to originate from rodents in Africa, although it was discovered in Denmark while studying primates. AIDS, I believe, also originated from Africa. Then you think about Ebola and Marburg. How did Tarzan survive Africa? Never been on my bucket list, as cool as a camera safari would have been.
Mainly on Bananas and Coconuts Pat.....remember the coconut oil fad quite alot of us bought into that one. but I'll stick with Brylcreem......the pillows smell better, those were the days. Monkey Pox can be caught by close contact similar to AIDS
notmyrealname, may want to share this infomation, after all he's a virologist. Virologist: Monkeypox genome doesn't explain outbreak
