    Anyone know when the new DFA/Consular office will open in the 2nd floor Robinsons Duma? My wife needs a passport

    You mean the one that has been covered up with paper for months by the Globe office I think the time it has set almost complete is an indicator as to when it will open. I think you were thinking about using your wife's passport for a Christmas trip.... better look else ware as that office has not seen outside physical progress for months. I know this is not a very precise answer but it is better than answer you may get when asking a Government official and getting the answer... "Tomorrow....MAYBE"

    haha that is very true, and yes we were but from the info i've been getting its going to be slim-none chance we will be making it for a christmas trip this year..

    There was an interview with the Dumaguete mayor late last night on one of the local news channels, this was mentioned and the time it was taking to open.
