Looks like we're going to get a good drenching the next few days. There's a fairly strong LPA (Low Pressure Area) coming ashore in northeast Mindanao and heading our way. Very little chance of it becoming a typhoon, may not even make tropical storm status, but we should be prepared for heavy rains. http://www.westernpacificweather.co...l-set-to-drench-the-philippines-this-weekend/
Looks like we're in for a rough ride. We're under storm warning #1 now - will most likely be #2 by tomorrow, as are Bohol and Siquijor now. http://kidlat.pagasa.dost.gov.ph/files/pdfforecast/bulletin.pdf
As of 11 am Monday, PAGASA has us under storm warning #2 (61-100 kph winds expected in next 24 hours ). Apppears as though we'll be feeling the brunt of it Tuesday evening. I've been told the dive boats have retreated to Tambobo for protection. My barometer has dropped from 1009 hPa at midnight to 1004, and is still falling at 0.7 per hour. Don't know about the wind, but we will be getting a huge amount of rain in the next couple of days.
Well again late last nopight it tracked north, just a bit of rain but as per usual no power since 2am. Wonder which excuse noreco will come up with this time!
