Its a well written article and I agree with most of what he has written. I do realize that this kind of article seldom, if ever, points out the opposing viewpoint. I mean someone could just as easily write 10 reasons NOT to visit or live in Dumaguete but who would buy that article?

Here is the link with photos. It shows clearly ACE Medical Center Bayawan.

I thought that it is at the boulevard but the street lights are different.

People have done just that about other cities in the Philippines.....and then were declared persona non grata and asked to leave the city/country. lol

When someone rants about a location while living there then I do agree that he should leave the location. But forced to leave the country is a bit too much.

Depends; if you have ever sat in McDonald's and listened to the loud obnoxious opinions of a few foreigners... I would like to see them shipped out with that guy to save further disapproving looks from others thinking "I am one of them also"... :shamefullyembarrased: Embarrassing and often unnecessary, there are more diplomatic ways of making your point to others imho than ranting... :o o:

It would be interesting to know about which things the foreigners are ranting at most in a McDonalds.

    No one is
No one is truly forced to live in a foreign country, although there may be compelling family reasons to do so, so IMO we should ACCEPT or LEAVE. For those who feel family reasons do actually COMPEL them to live in a particular country and that in reality they have no choice, I would say that is even more reason to ACCEPT.
