⌛ Dumaguete Hash House Harriers run/walk #44

After the smashing success of the walk of a few weeks ago, we decided to do it Dumaguete style! This will be an event you will remember for years;



Dumaguete Hash House Harriers Run/walk # 44

When; Saturday, August 6, 2:30 P.M.

Where; Mike's Beach Resort, Dauin

How much; adults P300, age 12 to 18 P150, under 12 free. Includes run/walk through lush tropical trails, beer/softdrinks/water, use of pool/resort, snacks, dinner, and live music by Dr. Ski.

Hares; Shadow and Brightnbreezy.

How to get there; Go south from Dumaguete to Dauin proper, turn left at (before) gas station, go one block past end of pavement and turn right. About 30 meters turn left into the driveway of Mike's Beach Resort and Puerta Cita.

What to bring; GOOD SHOES for walking, towel, change of clothes, mosquito repellent, an open mind, and a sense of humor.

Who to contact; Please contact Shadow (Larry) at 0908-213-7571 if you are coming, so we know how much food to prepare.

Now this sounds great and it's good to see some active people! I'm out of town at that time but I'll join the next one....

 

Larry, will you be offering your Mexican special tomorrow? What size crowd is expected, see you there.

 

At this point we have 35+ confirmed.

We will be doing an Italian style lasagna, while Mike and crew will be supplying nachos, chicken fettucini, Filipino style Spaghetti, BBQ chicken, BBQ ribs, rice, and more?

It should be a good party. There will be several of the ladies sitting out the run/walk at the resort with kids.

We attended this event, and although we couldn't do the run/walk part because my wife is due and on stand by, we enjoyed the party atmosphere of the Hash/Harriers and the great food Mike put out - barbecue chicken, great ribs, lasagna, two linguinis, salad, and ice cold beer. Besides host Larry, only one other DI member enjoyed the festivities with us. Seems like this is a fun group for those of you looking to socialize and/or exercise.
Fyi, the harriers did a 4 1/2 klick walk-run up toward the mountain and around and back down 2 hour time frame, Larry said they had harrier traditional "refreshments" along the way.
