“Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque previously said in a press briefing on February 25 that Negros Oriental was not a priority for vaccine distribution, as the province was able to manage its coronavirus outbreak.”

    I don't know.
And then the national leadership screwed the province by requiring the province to lift the 14 day quarantine for persons traveling to the province. After this the more contagious variants arrived in the province and now the hospitals in Negros Oriental have exceeded capacity of COVID patients.

I am still seeing news in Manila about using the vaccines for the residents of the Manila region before more distributions to the provinces.

The quarantine facility in Bacong is building plywood enclosures in the parking lot. Things are getting measurably worse.

It would appear Hong Kong have a surplus due to population not taking up the opportunity to be vaccinated
This world has has definitely lost it's way, Why not offer those vaccines to countries that are desperate for help, my mind boggles

The US Veterans Administration in Manila announced they will vaccinate all US veterans and US military retirees, their spouses, eligible dependents and their caregivers in the Philippines.

All due respect, how can you post this without any references ??

So I did the research and this is what I have found

VA Manila will only be offering vaccines to Veterans actively enrolled in healthcare services from the VA Manila Outpatient Clinic. As additional vaccine supplies become available, VA Manila will expand available vaccines to non-enrolled Veterans and spouses, in accordance with the PL 117-4, the SAVE LIVES Act. Veterans can access general information on COVID-19 vaccines on the CDC’s website. Veterans who are eligible for a COVID-19 vaccine will be contacted directly by VA Manila staff to schedule a vaccine appointment, which will be provided at the VA Manila Outpatient Clinic in Pasay City. Vaccinations at the VA Manila Outpatient Clinic will be provided on an appointment basis only,

So just to be clear, a trip to Pasay City if you are eligible and no info on when more Jabs for the Non enrolled
