    furnished apartments for rent Dumaguete City

    Anybody stayed here? It has all 5 star reviews on tripadvisor. Seems like an ok deal at 18,000 a month + electricity but includes a motorcycle. I think the location is nearly perfect.

    Hey Blaze,

    I live there. Price for the room+moto is 20k/mo, 16k for the room only (the rooms aren't that nice though). The long term apartments (which are really nice) go for 15k/month plus 4,5k/month for the moto rent. That said it's quite expensive but a very nice location, really secure, everything is working and taken care of (the place is under American management). I just made my deposit for one of the long term apartments and I don't think I will regret it :smile: .

    Iwe stayed there for a couple of weeks last year and i liked it. the owner and his wife are good people in my opinion but i know that there has also been alot of drama with some long term quests about various things wich didn't end pretty.

    Concerning the scooter rental:

    Just go buy a new scooter. At 4.5k a month you could have bought a new one in 10 months and a used one in 5 or less You can also rent a scooter from a filipino for about half the price until you find a bike of your own.

    A side note: Depending on your preference. You can easily find decent but simple apartment here for a 1/3 of the price. I pay 12k a month for a 2bed 2bath 2kitchen furnished house with a swimming pool in Valencia.

    If it's the one i remember, and in any case, like most things you find on the net here for sale, way over priced, usually with a foreign owner.

    Looks very small for 18k. The kitchen doesn't look like much either, the stove looks like camping equipment. My place is at least 3 times that size and I pay 12k.

    Dumaguete studio apartments is okay just don't go to the place next to it because there's been plenty of foreigner tenants thats been ripped off by those couple. Even if you stay 2-3 days you won't get back your 1 month rent or even deposit. They will promise you all these new furnitures before you move in and once you already made the payment and ask for the furnitures they will give you second hand ones even a rusty pot for you to use and you'll be shitscared of the tetanus if you ever think of cooking anything in it. And if you keep harassing the landlord about what she promised she will simply say " make the best out of it if your not happy then your free to leave" and once you do, she won't give back your money and even if you take her to the cops and complain she will make up all the excuses in the world of how you break this and that ( with her rotten furnitures ) so she doesn't have to return a cent back! So just be cautious or you can even ask 4 unhappy tenants from there
